Self love, what does this mean to most? It often means self confidence or success in the material realm. This kind of self love comes from what we do. Our accomplishments determine how valued we are by us. This kind of love comes from the ego.
This sort of self love always engenders separation. The reason lies in the location of the ego, which lives in a world of duality. In the world of duality everything has an opposite – an equal opposite. In this version of self love the greater the love the greater True Self Love is denied.
Since Self Love is unacceptable to the ego it must hide ... but where!? The most obvious place is in the body. It sits and it festers and eventually becomes dis-ease and though a man or woman may appear successful in their outer world, quite often they are suffering the effects of a toxic inner self caused by not loving the Self.

There can be no opposite because where love exists there is no duality only love. Love is of the creator of us all. Love extends and as we become one with it, It just Is. A Course In Miracles says;
"all that is required is acceptance of love and love becomes us."
Real Self Love is only acceptance of what It already Is - Love.
Love, Universal Mind or GOD are One. We need only accept what already exists within us and Self Love returns. Love has never left us, we simply forget It's presence within us.
When we make Self Love our focus, healing of our life circumstances, relationships, and our body becomes our natural experience. Focus on Self Love, your world will thank you for it!
