In Joseph Murphy's Treasure Chest of a book, Believe in Your Self he says:
Did you know that in every moment that your are making history? Did you know that you can foretell your own future just by observing the thoughts and the feelings that you have in your mind in this very moment. Did you know that if you look out into your world in this very instant that you would see all that is hidden within you?
You need no other to tell you what your future might bring nor do you need a doctor to tell you what your body symptoms will lead to. All that you need is to quiet the mind and take a real look at what it is your world is telling you, beginning with your body and your closest relationships.
As you begin to watch your world you will begin to see the connection it has to you it's maker. The more you watch the more you will see the unfoldment of the of your future as it reveals itself to you.
The Bible states:
What you assume will happen. You are the masterful maker of your world. You are a genius and once you realize - I mean truly realize that it is you and you alone that makes your world what it has and is becoming, you will see that in every thought and every feeling is your history unfolding.
You are making history right now. Do you like what you see?
Do you like what the future holds for you? If not, re-write your history now. Simply re-design in your mind a future that you desire to make your history and then keep your attention on it by assuming it is happening now that which you desire it to be.
Let all idols go! Pay no mind to thoughts and feelings that serve not your future and be happy that it is done now.
